Chestnut Family Health Center can help you to sign up for affordable health insurance through the Illinois and Federal Health Insurance Marketplace. Help is available to anyone living in the area; it is not just for patients of the Health Center.

If you are eligible for coverage, we can help you to:

  • Enroll in Medicaid and CHIP
  • Enroll during the Marketplace special enrollment period. You qualify if you have recently gotten married, had a baby, or if a child has left home for college or for a new job
  • Apply for an exemption from coverage
  • Make changes to current Marketplace applications They include ending your insurance coverage, changing qualified health plans, adding dependents to your insurance, reporting a change in your income, etc.
