You may qualify for a paid research study called Launch testing a new method of substance use recovery support services.

Launch a recovery journey and, at the same time, help advance recovery support services research.

About the study

The Launch study is recruiting pairs: a young adult who is struggling with their use of more than one substance and their parent.

As the young adult participant, you may be asked to:

  • Complete online surveys and interviews about yourself and your experience in the study.
  • Participate in one of our recovery support programs, about one hour a week for five months. Currently we have programs available in the following Illinois Counties: Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Madison, McLean, Perry, Williamson.
  • Do two at-home urine drug screenings and share the results with the researchers (don't worry, we keep these results confidential).

As the parent participant, you may be asked to:

  • Complete virtual coaching from anywhere, about one hour a week for five months.
  • Support the young adult through their recovery journey.
