BLOOMINGTON, ILL — Chestnut Health Systems™ is excited to present "Tiny Changes, Mighty Hearts," a free community event designed to explore how small, every day choices can lead to a stronger heart and a healthier life. Join us on Wednesday, February 11, from 12 - 1 p.m. at Chestnut Family Health Center, 702 W. Chestnut St., Bloomington.
Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of death in the United States, but prevention often begins with simple, sustainable habits. In recognition of American Heart Month, this seminar aims to provide practical guidance on how to incorporate healthy eating, regular physical activity, and routine checkups into daily life.
Tiny Changes, Mighty Hearts will be presented by Dr. Ashish Singal, Resident Physician, Chestnut, and Dr. Vijay Roy, Cardiologist, OSF Healthcare.
"Heart health doesn't have to feel overwhelming," said Singal. "Even small adjustments, like adding a short walk or choosing water over soda, can have a powerful impact over time. Our goal is to make heart care simple and achieveable for everyone."
To support heart health, attendees will receive free blood pressure checks at the event. A light lunch and refreshments will also be provided.
This free seminar is open to all community members; no medical background required. Registration is not required, but is recommended.
Take action for your heart today and start making changes that matter. For more information or to register, visit tinyurl.com/tiny-changes or call 888.924.3786.
