The Behavioral Health Workplace Innovation Center (BHWIC) provides evaluation research, outcome measurement, product development, trend analysis, and dissemination of findings by:
- Identifying “best practice” methods employers (and their vendors) can use to effectively prevent or respond to behavioral health issues among employees, including systematic screening and linkage to services.
- Evaluating employer-sponsored behavioral health programs, benefits, claims experience, and related workplace policies.
- Analyzing trends in workplace behavioral health models, vendors, technology solutions, pay-for-performance, and service utilization.
- Developing, validating, and implementing tools to measure the outcomes or results of workplace health and well-being programs.
- Researching and recommending approaches to improve workforce recruitment and retention in the “helping” or behavioral health professions.
- Examining supportive employment or vocational programs for people in recovery, including the formerly incarcerated and recipients of Medicaid.
