Bloomington, Ill.—Hatch Trauma Survivor Model Framework will be held Thursday, June 4, 3 - 5 p.m. at the Chestnut Family Health Center at 702 W. Chestnut Street in Bloomington. Register for free at tinyurl.com/survivor-model.
This training, presented by Lillian Hatch, offers a practical, peer-informed look at how trauma impacts individuals and pathways to healing. Topics include Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), the trauma-addiction cycle, trauma-informed care principles, complex behavioral considerations, and the importance of self-care. Participants will leave with real-world insights and tools grounded in lived experience.
"As someone who has been through trauma, this training helped me see my experiences in a stronger, more postitive way. Lillian's framework game me tools to change how I think about trauma and other co-occuring behavioral health challenges. I am a survivor who is working toward healing and growing stronger," said Cat Hays, community health specialist for recovery supports at Chestnut Health Systems™.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required. It is presented by Chestnut Health Systems and the McLean County Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC). The training is funded in whole or part by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery.
