For Young Adults & Their Parents: Exploring Healthier Choices Around Substance Use

Substance Use StudyLaunch

For many young adults, drinking or other substance use is just a part of social life. But sometimes, it can start affecting energy, mood, motivation, sleep, or relationships in ways that aren’t always obvious.

The Launch Study is here to provide free, research-based tools to help young adults explore ways to cut back or take control of their substance use—on their own terms.

For Young Adults: Curious About Making a Change?

This study is designed for people who are:

✔ Wondering if reducing use could improve their focus, mental health, or daily routine
✔ Feeling like substance use is affecting their motivation, school, or work life
✔ Interested in tools that can help them cut back without pressure or judgment
✔ Open to meeting with a peer worker in your local community

For Parents: Supporting Your Young Adult’s Well-Being

As a parent, you want your young adult to thrive, not just get by. It can be hard to know how to talk about substance use in a way that’s supportive, not pushy. The Launch Study provides evidence-based resources to help your young adult explore healthier habits—at their own pace.
