BLOOMINGTON, ILL - Bloomington, IL — Chestnut Health Systems™ is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa Woodbury as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective August 18, 2025. Melissa will succeed Karen Rettick, who will retire in 2026 after almost 30 years of dedicated service to the organization.
Melissa brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience across the agricultural, manufacturing, and insurance industries. She most recently served as Director of Business Development at State Farm, where she led strategic alliance relationships. Her expertise includes accounting operations, budget and expense planning, strategic planning, and financial and performance analytics.
Melissa holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Illinois State University and multiple insurance industry designations.
