Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP)

The SLRP offers up to $50,000 in loan repayment for primary care providers working in HPSAs in Illinois.

Eligible Providers Include

  • Physician (Family Practice, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics)
  • Dentist, Advanced Practice Nurse
  • Physician Assistant
  • Psychiatrist
  • Certified Nurse Midwife

Commitment

  • Full-time: 2-year commitment.
  • Half-time: 4-year commitment.

Benefits

  • Up to $50,000 for student loan repayment.
  • Non-taxable grant funds in Illinois.

Eligibility

  • Must be Illinois licensed or eligible.
  • U.S. citizen.
  • Commitment to working at an approved HPSA.
