Models are backed by scientific evidence and encourage the use of clinical experience and client preferences. They are positive, supportive, client-centered, and strength-based. The Center has trained clinicians and recovery support specialists from more than 500 organizations in the United States and Canada. Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Center
Our mission is to disseminate high quality evidence-based behavioral health interventions, treatment, and recovery support models through training, certification, and technical assistance. By training clinicians, recovery support specialists, and their supervisors, our ultimate goal is to improve substance use, mental health, and associated outcomes for adults, emerging adults, and adolescents. Models are backed by scientific evidence and encourage the use of clinical experience and client preferences. They are positive, supportive, client-centered, and strength-based. Training teams consist of individuals with various backgrounds, including clinical work, recovery support work, model implementation, and/or personal lived experience. The Center has trained clinicians and recovery support specialists from more than 500 organizations in the United States and Canada.

- Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA): The Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) is a behavioral treatment for adults with substance use disorders. To learn more: Community Reinforcement Approach
- Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA): The Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA) is a developmentally-appropriate behavioral treatment for youth and young adults ages 12 to 24 years old with substance use disorders.
