Michelle Cruz is a Research Project Manager at Chestnut Health Systems’ Lighthouse Institute, where she works on several projects focused on substance use, recovery, and the criminal legal system. Since joining the team in 2020, she has especially appreciated the opportunity to work on community-engaged research, in which studies are conducted in partnership with people with lived experience. She is based in Eugene, Oregon.
