Tess Drazdowski is a licensed psychologist and Research Scientist at Chestnut Health Systems' Lighthouse Institute. Her work focuses on increasing access to evidence-based care for underserved youth and young adults, particularly those involved in the criminal legal system. Drawing from her background teaching incarcerated parents, Tess is deeply committed to reform and recovery. Her current research spans health services program development, recovery support, and polysubstance use. She is passionate about building scalable, engaging services and actively mentors individuals with lived experience in recovery and the criminal legal system. Having lived in rural Pennsylvania, she is particularly dedicated to creating impactful, accessible programs that meet the unique needs of individuals in rural and frontier communities.
