The purpose of the project is to enhance and expand comprehensive treatment, early intervention, and recovery support services for adolescents (ages 14-18) and their families with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders. The project will provide a coordinated multi-system, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and family-centered approach to addressing the unmet needs of students in 5 high schools in Jefferson County, MO. It is hypothesized that participation in project services will lower rates of substance use, substance related problems, and mental health problems.
