The purpose of SOR-IV is to address escalating opioid misuse, opioid use disorder (OUD), and opioid-related overdose across Illinois. Grant services are intended to increase access to FDA-approved medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder (MOUD); support the continuum of prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery support services for OUD and other concurrent substance use disorders; and support the continuum of care for stimulant misuse and use disorders, including those involving cocaine and methamphetamine. Receipt of these services will improve participants’ level of functioning at 6 months as compared with their baseline level of functioning.
