Dr. Rogers is a board-certified Family Medicine doctor at Chestnut Health Systems. He is trained in several evidence-based practices and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
Dr. Rogers earned his M.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Silas B. Hays Army Community Hospital. He approaches treatment with a belief that every person should be treated with their needs, goals, and values in mind. He welcomes and expects those he cares for to be actively involved in the decisions made about their treatment and care.
Dr. Rogers chose this field because he has always had an interest in helping others who are in need, both physically and emotionally. He enjoys working with people and being the able to provide the “why” behind their concerns. “By providing information and education to my patients, I can help them understand things that may have otherwise been confounding and frustrating. In doing this, I can help many strive for healthier lifestyles.”
In his spare time, Dr. Rogers loves to spend time with his wife and large family. He is active in his church and sings in the choir, and he also enjoys physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.
