Dr. Quinchia is a Family Medicine Resident at Chestnut Health Systems. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Board of Family Medicine, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Quinchia earned her Doctor of Medicine from CES University in Medellín, Colombia. She approaches treatment with a focus on patient autonomy and understanding. “I believe patient autonomy is the most important thing in a doctor to patient relationship, and true autonomy can only be achieved through understanding. Therefore, my job is to provide as much information as I can to help the patient make the right decisions for themselves and their quality of life.”
Dr. Quinchia chose this field to better understand the conditions her loved ones experienced, and to help people struggling. She enjoys when her patients return and say they have been feeling better.
In her spare time, Dr. Quinchia enjoys hanging out with her husband and dog, working out, and reading.
