Dr. Garner has practiced internal medicine in Illinois since 1988. He is board-certified in internal medicine, addiction medicine, and hospice medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Addiction Medicine, the Illinois State Medical Society, American Association of Medical Ethics, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
Dr. Garner earned a bachelor’s degree in physiology and biophysics from the University of Illinois, and his MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He approaches treatment with a focus on patient-centered care. He meets the patient where they are and assists them with what they need, without complicating the treatment plan.
Dr. Garner chose this field to provide care to vulnerable and underserved populations. He enjoys helping his patients embark on their wellness journey.
