Angela is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Chestnut Health Systems, specializing in mental health. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Angela earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri. She approaches treatment with a focus on patient-centered and recovery-based care, aiming to have patients be an active participant in their treatment process.
Angela chose this field because she has had an interest in psychology since she was a child. Her mission is to help people with mental health struggles live life to the fullest. She enjoys hearing her client’s victories and stories of recovery, and “seeing the sparkle come back into their eyes.”
In her spare time, Angela is involved in a recovery ministry at her church, and she enjoys spending time with her family and pets.
