This is part of the National Media Campaign to Prevent and Reduce Underage Drinking and Other Substances – STOP Act, and provides expert input into training and dissemination materials as part of the TTHY campaign. The goal of training and dissemination materials will be (a) Training School Staff in Motivational Interviewing (MI) Strategies; (b) Training School Staff in a Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) protocol; (c) Training School Staff in a brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy intervention that follows from the MET protocol; (d) Training School Staff in tools to engage parents in the referral to services process; (e) Training parents in MI Strategies to use with their children; and (f) Training parents in Rapport Building Skills to use with their children. These will need to build upon Screen for Success (S4S). The training developed will be web‐based, self‐administered, and easily digestible for the trainee audience.
